The doctor didn't have to ask the developmental questions because Sadie was rolling all over the table, talking/cooing the whole time, smiling & laughing at him. She had a slight head tilt at her 2 month appointment that he was a little concerned about. Thankfully, it has improved enough that he didn't notice it at all so we can avoid physical therapy! She does have a little reflux but she is not fussy with it so we are not going to treat it. He attributed her nasal congestion to the reflux. He said we could start cereal if we wanted or we could wait since she is still solely breasfed. But he also said the cereal could help with the reflux. So we started cereal later that week. The first night we fed her, she cried when she finished the small bowl of cereal!
She has continued to do well with her cereal (just once a day right now). We will probably start twice a day next week. Sadie is still sleeping all night - yay! She is now wearing a size 2 diaper, size 3-6 month clothes. She is starting to drool a good bit so most of the time she has a bib on. Sadie is a little motor mouth already. Every afternoon when I pick her up from daycare, the teachers tell me that she carries on a very good conversation. She still goes to sleep pretty quickly after getting in the car to go anywhere. She adores Harrison & thinks he is hilarious even if he is throwing toys at her head or laying on top of her!
Speaking of Harrison...
we are home today with a stomach bug - yuck! We have watched lots of Thomas the Train, Curious George, and Veggie Tales ("Telly Vales"). He can watch the same video over and over and over... I keep trying to get him to watch something different. He is still coming up with new sayings pretty often. His newest that is one of my favorites is to ask "Mommy, doing?" for what are you doing. He also asks "where aaaaarrreee you, Mommy??" which I think is so cute. He tries to put himself in timeout, slaps his hands & tells them to stop when they are doing something he doesn't want them to. He sings non-stop - sometimes we know what he is singing & sometimes we don't... He loves to sing ABCs still & Happy Birthday.
He climbed his first tree last weekend at my grandmother's house.
He will get his first opportunity to walk down the aisle next weekend at my brother's wedding. We will see how he does...
